History
The origins of the Casona date back to the second half of the sixteenth century, when Admiral Alvaro del Busto decided to rise his family palace in Pravia. His descendants made few modifications until the Casona got to Micaela Valdes’ hands, the Casona’s current owner and responsible for the wonderful transformation of the country-palace into a charming hotel.
Adaptation but not reform, since the historic and artistic legacy has been completely respected. The walls have been hardly touched so as to preserve its spirit and personality while including modern services as Internet WiFi access, minibar or a game room with pool table.
